Booking

A Test Drive Day offers you the opportunity to book Test Drives in cars fitted with popular driving adaptations.

This is a chance to experience a range of driving adaptations available on the Motability Scheme with a professional driver.

Please note, there will be no other activities on the day, as this is purely a Test Drive experience.

Test Drives must be booked in advance as they cannot be booked on the day. Please only attend if you have booked a Test Drive.

Test Drive days will be held outdoors, so please bring suitable clothing in case of bad weather.

No, everyone is welcome to book a Test Drive in an adapted car.

All Test Drives must be booked ahead of time to secure your place, please only attend if you have Test Drive(s) booked.

We only have a limited number of adapted cars and time slots on each day, so booking is required to avoid disappointment.

To book a Test Drive, simply click the date you’re interested in and browse the range of adapted cars available.

Once you’ve found a car with the adaptations you’re interested in, you can select a time slot for your Test Drive.

If you wish to book more than one car, we recommend leaving a time slot between your bookings to allow plenty of time.

To secure your booking, you will be asked to create an account with a unique email and password.

Once you have completed these steps, you’ll receive an email with your booking confirmation and all the information you’ll need.

To Test Drive any of our adapted cars, you must have a full UK driving licence and have no more than either:

3 (three) penalty points, which may have been accrued for any conviction;

OR

6 (six) penalty points in any of the of the following conviction categories: Speeding (SP), Construction and Use Offences (CU), Pedestrian Crossing (PC) or Traffic Signs/Directions (TS)

Any penalty points / endorsements over and above those listed above mean you will be unable to complete a test drive as a driver. Any endorsements with a conviction date of more than 5 (five) years’ old will not be counted.

To take a test drive, the driver must bring their valid driving licence and sign our Test Drive declaration form on the day.

Arrival

You must bring the following on the day of your Test Drive:

  • Valid UK driving license
  • Photographic ID

Test Drives will be held outdoors so please bring suitable clothing in case of bad weather.

Please arrive at your Test Drive Day 15 minutes before your booking(s), to ensure you have enough time to check in with one of our team.

When you arrive, you’ll be directed to the FREE customer parking. From here, please follow the signs toward the check in desk, where we will check your driving licence and ask you to sign our Test Drive indemnity form.

There‘ll be facilities and light refreshments available to purchase, as well as advice from some of our Adaptations specialists.

If you are running late for your Test Drive time slot, we are unable to guarantee that you will be able to take your test drive.

Depending on demand, we will try our best to provide an alternative Test Drive, this will be managed by our team on the day.

Getting to us

The location of each Test Drive Day can be found here as well as on your confirmation email.

All Test Drives will run from 9:30am and close at 5pm. The last slot for a Test Drive will begin at 4:20pm.

Light refreshments including tea and coffee will be available to purchase on the day of your Test Drive.

There will be accessible toilets available to use at every venue.

Yes, there will be free parking available at each venue.

Not to worry, you can view your Test Drive bookings in ‘My Bookings’ on this site at any time.

The team on the day will also have a record of your booking and will check you in when you arrive.

Only assistance dogs are welcome.

Yes, but Test Drive slots will only be available for people that have booked in advance.
